Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What does natural feeding mean?
Natural feeding means raising animals without hormone supplements. Cattle and sheep that graze on pasture in summer and are naturally fed in winter produce less meat than hormone-treated animals.

2. How is shock-free Halal slaughter performed?

  • The animal to be slaughtered must not see other slaughtered animals.

  • The slaughter area must be clean, with no traces of previous slaughter.

  • Knives must be kept out of the animal’s sight.

  • The animal must be laid down by experts without causing it distress. In our tunnel system, the process is gentle (can be seen in our YouTube video).

  • The slaughter is performed with the Takbir (“Bismillah Allahu Akbar”).

3. What is the time difference between shock-free Halal slaughter and shock slaughter?

  • In shock-free Halal slaughter, the animal remains at the slaughter site for 5 minutes and hangs for 7 minutes. The total time until processing is 12 minutes, during which all impure blood drains.

  • In shock slaughter, the animal is immediately paralyzed and remains motionless. Most impure blood remains in the body. Processing can begin within 3 minutes.

4. How is shock-free slaughter performed?
We recommend watching our Nimet Kavurma video.

5. How is shock slaughter performed?
Cattle are stunned with a bolt gun, while small livestock is electrically shocked and then slaughtered (the method can be viewed online).

6. Why are the costs of shock-free slaughter higher?
Shock slaughter allows for 4 times faster meat production. Considering time and labor, the costs of shock-free Halal slaughter are naturally higher. Additionally, we personally supervise the slaughter to ensure responsibility.

7. How long can fresh meat be sold after slaughter?
Fresh meat can be sold for 3 months if gas-sealed vacuum-packed and 21 days if gas-free vacuum-packed. Our meat products have a shelf life of 21 days.

8. Does frozen meat stay fresh?
Vacuum-packed meat stays fresh even when frozen. After thawing, it is ready for processing within 5-6 hours.

9. Is the freshness of meat maintained during online sales?
Our products are shipped in Styrofoam or insulated meat bags, along with ice that ensures cooling for 2 days.

10. How long does delivery take after an online order?
We ship via express delivery. Delivery takes 1 day within Germany and 2-3 days in Europe.

11. Is the cold chain maintained during transportation?
Yes, the cold chain is maintained from production to delivery at your address.

12. Why can we trust you? Aren’t there companies without HALAL certification?
As a brand selling directly to consumers, we feel obligated to be transparent. Therefore, we offer our products packaged and labeled.
The slaughter is conducted under our supervision. We take responsibility and work diligently.
Our fresh meat labels include:

  • Slaughter, packaging, and sell-by dates

  • Cut name

  • Slaughterhouse name and license number (EC/EK)

  • Meat weight

13. Do you offer naturally fed chicken?
Naturally fed chicken is part of our 2020 production plan. It will be produced under natural feeding and Halal slaughter conditions and sold as whole, frozen chicken.

14. Why did you choose this field? Isn’t the meat on the market Halal?
We do not accept a model where the customer must blindly trust. We believe in transparency. In Europe, you can easily read the ingredients of bread on the label in local markets. Unfortunately, this transparency is often lacking in ethnic markets.
We offer all our products transparently, from producer to consumer. We want our customers to have detailed information about our products without needing to ask. Our goal is to build trust through quality. That’s why we decided to work in the field of staple foods.
